Tvísöngur Sound Sculpture, Iceland 2024

Archival pigment print on Canson baryta paper.

8 x 12″, or variable

Originally photographed with a 35mm film camera using lomochrome film, the modified using a “film soup” process – the film is soaked for days in a concoction of various liquids, in this case dish soap, silica gel, salt and spruce needles.  Processed in standard C-41 chemicals, the result is unpredictable and demonstrates effects that are unique to each frame.
